As we enter into the second week of the One Room Challenge, I have chosen a color. Drum roll please, and the color is Sherwin Williams Red Theatre. It’s a deep moody reddish burgundy color that will match my rug that I’ve had stored for a while. The room will get painted this week and I’m super excited. I’m not excited about packing up the room and moving everything out and then back in, pray for me. I have chosen the art, a lamp and the storage console. The console came yesterday and I’m trying to decide if I’m going to put it together or hire it out. I’ve put together smaller furniture before but this big piece kind of scares me.

I have not finalized everything yet for the space but one of the goals was storage. I’m trying to decide on what else I’ll use for more storage. I’m leaning toward shelves, either floating or some type of shelving unit. This space serves many work purposes, hence why I spend so much time in it. So, after it’s all done, when I enter my home office I want to feel joy, and excitement the kind that makes we want to work. A girl has bills, lol. I have attached the mood board with the rug, paint color, the lamp and art I have purchased.
