Stick with your gut, it is usually right. Sticking with your gut can be hard because as much as we hate to admit it, we care about the opinions of others. Recently I saw this sofa on Facebook marketplace that I wanted to purchase, and I was on the fence about it, and I said let me send it to a few people to see their thoughts. The reason is the sofa is an old school vintage sofa. With the current style being new, modern, and shiny I didn’t know how other people would receive my sofa. It was just something about it that gave me all the feels. The people I sent the sofa to said no and even one said are you kidding. They didn’t see the vision I had.

I watched that sofa for a couple of weeks because again I felt something for the sofa. The sofa was inexpensive, so I put aside what people said and purchased the sofa. I am in love with it; it was in good condition and a good quality sofa. I styled the sofa and now the two people who said no to the sofa love it as well. Trust yourself it can be hard, but you are the only one that has to live with your decision. If you get a flutter in your heart for something or about something it may be what you need to go for. Let’s practice not worrying about what other people say or what other people may think and go for what you know to be right or what feels good to you.
